I think its great for when you write code in a specific way but for times when youre jumping around alot it cant keep up very well.
Mind you even the auto stuff like quotes and braces dont keep up that well either, the amount of times I have to delete extra quotes because its tried to be too helpful. Least Copilot doesnt auto inject like that
My favourite is when you delete one quote and it helps and deletes both but you only wanted one, then you add one and it adds two gaaaah haha

It all depends on the game. Listen servers are great if you don't need a ton of people and don't really care about the possibility of cheating, like in co-op games. If cheating needs to be a lot more difficult, and you need to be able to monitor things, like in a competitive shooter, you need a dedicated server
