Like okay I could look at the data asset and load those refs up front

or alternatively I could load it the proper way asynchronously, which could cause a tiny delay before the player sees the object they're trying to build because it's loading
and the code would be significantly more complex because it needs to take that into account
both in the actors themselves and also in my player logic, building logic, and UI logic

So so far I haven't really been able to justify the effort of doing it "the right way" and I'm just LoadSynchronousing them lol
