- A small web interface to monitor things and set the amount of players per server that can enter.

also, I think I can avoid my problem entirely. Currently, I have an item info struct, which would be used in the data table storing all the info for each item. Then a seperate struct for what actually stores in the inventory array, theoretically with fewer variables/memory cost. But it seems theres only a difference of about 4 variables, and they're tiny!
the async loading issue came about because the icons for the item were softobjectptrs in the datatable struct, but direct references in the inventory struct cause then it'll be displayed in the inventory HUD
if I ditch the second slightly smaller struct, and just use the main struct all around, I can handle the async loading on the BP side where its just a simple node
tho I've also failed to take into account how to handle weapons/gear with upgrades

I mean, you become a police officer for good reasons. There is something institutionalised about the methodology of fear first, arrest later that seems broken and I think it's because of the gun laws. Police in this country don't batter you down. There are cases of it but they don't feel the need to in order to do their job safely. In the US I think they are too scared to be on the streets and the machismo of the role/job tends to bring the worst out in men, whom are at their most dangerous when they are scared.
