my photoshop says no Open CL available. I have an RTX 3080. I have installed and reinstalled old, latest drivers, clean installs, just did a DDU as well. Nothing is working. GPU-Z shows OpenCL, PhysX and CUDA disabled. I just don't understand it at all. I've tried everything I can think of.

and Photoshop says driver out of date despite being on the latest driver right now.

I had the CUDA SDK installed too and I easily queried a few mins back the version and it returned the correct CUDA version.

in fact, there is a guy who literally swapped his GPUs and the problem did not go away.

openCL is software anyway. It's CUDA which is hardware. If CUDA cores fried, ok, but no way to test that because it's all in the die and no reason the rest of the die would remain fine with such an important chunk gone.

openCL is software only. CUDA is nvidia's alternative to openCL. Only reason openCL wouldn't work is software based, it must be.

Yeah it's kind of a mess, the way things aren't modular with the equipping and what not drives me a little mad

they bloody hand code all of the equipping mechanics
