something I realised from building two pcs this year is the whole "stuff the cables behind the back panel" thing is awful. I had virtually no room to put the case siding back on and I took it through the neatest path. Also the distance from having a PSU at the bottom of the case, to the mobo connector is too long for average length cables now. Especially when they have to circumnavigate around a GPU that is bigger than God's plasma tv.

when I was in my late teens I was living the life of a punk/rocker and taking too much, drinking too much etc. One winter I was sleeping next to a drafty window and picked up the flu. That turned into pneumonia and pluracy. I could only stay awake long enough to drink some blackcurrant and barf before I passed out for another 12 hours or so. When the doctor arrive she panicked and put me in hospital. I was practically dead. I blacked out for 24 hours and never had a single thought in that time. It was just switch off, switch on. I was lucky to survive. Went on to have 5 kids, become a computer whizz, unreal genius and generally likeable and nice bloke 😄

My dad and his mom had a weird experience when his father died

So in the middle of the night his father appeared in his dream, quoting my dad, said "he said he came to visit us one last time and left", both he and his mom woke up at the same time because of the exact same dream, ask either or them and they will both tell the exact same story in so much detail

Ok I know this is crazy and perhaps not appropriate for the channel but it is relevant. I was abused as a child. The person said if I told my parents he would come in, in the middle of the night, and slit their throats. For more than 30 years I repressed this memory until I was triggered into remembering the whole ordeal. I spent a lot of time super angry but the whole event suddenly came back like a video replaying the event. The manipulation of the mind to trigger that survival instinct can do thing completely out of your control. I never truly believed in repressed memory at such a scale until it happened to me.

So experienced an interesting thing the other day
So we were walking past some Christmas lights, and me and my dad could see the lights flickering very quickly, like clearly turning on and off very quickly
While my mom said she couldn't, the lights were completely still for her and she thought we were crazy

Well, I got loads of experience now, which is a bonus, I would have to design a system that is like a smart AI, that picks vaguely what they do, after a while you wouldn't have too many unique ones because of diminishing returns, if you break into someone's house and steal an item and then hear them argue and get a divorce, it's got a solid idea around it, but I don't think i'd do it solo.

Yeah, I learned that technique from mario games and megaman, it's called the mario tutorial, they figured out how to slow feed people on what to do, without text prompts, and me being older and with a data base full of games in my brain I can sort of mesh things together

I think that would be the go, you would have to have traits, family members and what not, kinda like free will on the sims in a way, depends how much work there is, because it can get out of hand very quickly, like paying rent and what not, people being evicted, stealing because they have nothing, it would be easiest to load someone up with traits and let the ai go about it, but that's a lot of calculations

The best way would be to break down a "normal" routine and go from there, then just do base work for the ai, but then add in specialty traits to make things unique
