I'm gonna be completely honest it really is sucky but with something that can cut not only costs but time I have no doubt the companies and people will pour more money research and manpower to create further iterations and larger datasets to create even better ai generated art then we currently have now especially regarding open-ai they almost always come back around with further iterations that improve drastically
And theres tons of research being put into reducing model sizes and optimizations
