I got a prototype of Vagrant Story's AOE attack systen going in UE, but I'm likely going to ditch it. It was kind of improvisation from FF7R's command menu system and strategy element from Vagrant Story/Parasite Eve's AOE system, but I felt it started getting in the way of the real time action combat I'm envisioning

you can also merge weapons and combine their increased stats.

but with how atrociously long it takes to load the chest that contains your weapons at forges, you could easily spend an hour or more just upgrading weapons.

when you are on windows 10 visual studio will compile UE with just the e-cores if they are enabled. You have to disable them and go with the p-cores to get any performance at all. But W11 supports both.

The image approach can be a major pain if you have drives with different sizes

last time I used clonezilla it shrunk the partition automatically iirc. Dont think I've had to resize partitions with ghosting software for a while. But linux sounds like a plan.
