Like when they said they were remaking FF7 I was excited. Then they changed the combat and it wasn't the same game anymore. Then they split it into 3 games so you can't even finish the game without waiting years for the development to catch up. May as well have made it a live service with "Pay per character".

Arkham Knight combat is pretty complex eventually. Starts off simple but it does get complex as you need to learn the enemy types and organise your fights. Gotham Knights threw that out of the window and made it so you press one button for 90% of enemies, then hold that same button, or press two buttons to stop a tough guy blocking.

I was considering making a dismemberment system with Niagara but work got in the way. I'm not entirely sold on these bone detatchment systems when you can sample the mesh, create a particle that can do more modifications, then hide the section, cap it if necessary and you're good to go

I'd love to have feature to intercept native subtitles, but this becomes impossible to do, as the delegate only gives texts.

The native system does have exposed delegate, but it only carry FText reference. Reading it as is would be against the point of parallel subtitles the plugin have to offer, and the native system only keep the other information to itself.

Using the game I played as an example, assuming one aims for SSR grade cards as it gives costumes:
- 1 pull costs 250, but you're more likely getting R grade cards which doesn't worth much practically
- 10 pull costs around 2500 in game jewels, increasing permutation for SSR grade cards
- You may whale for $70 for around 2500 in game jewels
- You may get the SSR grade cards from that pull, but it can be duplicate of what you already have
- There is a pity system which allows you to choose whatever SSR cards available, and practically cost 75000 jewels, as it takes 300 pull tokens
- If you whale all the way and not getting what you want, the pity system practically costs around... get this... ||$2100||
This isn't worst example per se, as what it gives are cosmetics only and may spice up your screenshots, but I'd imagine more brutal gachas can costs lot more to get intended items
