Since then I have no faith in public opinion for change except in certain corporate social media circumstances. We even have a system where we can petition Parliament and if it gets 100,000 signatures, they have to talk about the issue. But all you get is some M.P. who speaks out the issue, someone says "we should...." whilst another person says "we shouldn't...." and nothing changes. I wish it wasn't so as I used to believe in democracy but as I grow older I realise it's just an illusion.
