Hi I was looking at extracted models from unreal game. This one for example, it's around 10k, but there are 2 other models with it, same armature. One of the three is brutally decimated with no regard for the shape, it's an horrendous decimation. Is this happening because the intent is to display the low resolution mesh when the camera isnt close to it?

Tested send to unreal addon and it works with static meshes I will see what happens with animations. But, there's a problem, the tutorials show you that the addon has settings, in the Blender addon I got there are no settings. I tested both in 3.3 and 2.93, it's the same. The settings can be found elsewhere, in the "pipeline" menu. Not sure if it's a bug, since the exporter works
