As a Turkish perspective: I saw economic collapse, distrust to Turkey's allies, corrupted governments, a whole Hashashi creed tried to take over the government at 2016, which was going to end up in civil war and millions of deaths (no joke), and ISIS on our doors.. And there were people trying to prevent disasters, some gave their life while trying to do that.
