The gravity bit is one of these really odd things to try and explain, but super basically say you jump up, you don't fall down - the ground is actually moving towards you. What happens if two people jump on opposite sides of the world, surely that means people fall towards the ground because the world can't be moving in opposite directions, right? Well.. no. I'll admit this is where my understanding starts to break down, but I take the word of a few experts in the world who have explained it. It comes down to how we are all moving in spacetime, and that spacetime isn't anywhere near as flat and linier as we all observe.
Time as an illusion, can be demonstrated fairly easily by anyone. All you need is a torch/flashlight, a dark room, and a couple of people. One person has the torch and moves it slowly, say from their shoulders to the top of their head. The light appears to everyone to move slowly up and down. Now the person also moves slowly from side to side. From is point of view the light is moving exactly the same - up and down. But from the others point of view it's now moving diagonally up then diagonally down. So from the others point of view the same light moved a greater distance, than the man holding the torch.

I can only imagine what he said after that because the others found it amusing enough though. That's the main reason I don't block anyone now. I am willing to read the complete and utter codswallop some people write, I'll simply choose not to engage if I don't like the convo. and the binding code that I've got links to that libwebrtc, but is compiled with GCC using -nostdlibinc and linking to that custom libc++
luckily libc++ mismatch causes link error in this situation
stdlibc++ uses std::*

OK so, I debugged all the way through and everything is perfect right up until when the std::unique_ptr<rtc::Thread> is returned from rtc::Thread::Create() back to my code.
Up until that point, we have a valid, obviously heap-allocated pointer address 0x4792ca0.
As soon as the move constructor for the std::unique_ptr member variable accepts the std::unique_ptr rvalue though, things change
Long story short, you get this:

It's worth noting that though my debug session saw a stack address in there, I have also observed stupidly low numbers that look like non-pointer values
such as 0x80 or 0x1
Which really smells of some kind of calling interface mismatch or something weird
It's not (yet) clear why the original developer opted with using the in-tree libc++ for linux x64 builds (notably, for ARM64 builds it seemed like he opted not to)
libwebrtc can be built with the system c++ stdlib by using the gn arg use_custom_libcxx=false
I bet you it's some kind of move optimization which is implemented half in g++ and half in libstdc++
I couldn't find a quick easy to test entry point that didn't rely on move semantics the way std::unique_ptr does to test that theory though and I'm honestly happy to just have it working
