It’s not really recommended you drive up and park at the actual venue as there is no on-site parking and there’s no street parking around the venue on event days.

If you’re coming from Philly I’d probably just take the train and transfer onto the LIRR at Penn Station.

The Long Island Railroad is a separate train service that serves Long Island. Forest Hills is usually only a stop or two away from Penn Station depending on what line you take.

As for the NJT, the first thing you’ll have to do (if you’re not taking Amtrak because while that would be the more direct option it’s also more expensive rn because of how close we are to the 31st) is take the SEPTA from 30th Street to Trenton, and then transfer onto the Northeast Corridor NJT line, and then transfer onto the LIRR once you get to Penn Station to go to Forest Hills. All told it usually takes about 3 hours to go from 30th to Penn on commuter rail (Amtrak usually takes about half the time or nearly a third if you’re taking the Acela) and then another 15 minutes on the LIRR from Penn to Forest Hills.

And this is assuming everything is running smoothly.
