cyberpunk 2077 also

#

its rated 110 watts but uses 80-90

#

that is normal for Max-Q GPU

oh alr

radiant nebula
#

that extra ‘dynamic boost’ wattage is rarely reached

supposedly it kicks in when your CPU isn’t having to do like anything so it can send the GPU more power

abstract finch
#

its a 230 watt one

radiant nebula
#

230W is good enough for my acer predator with ultra 9 and 4070M

abstract finch
#

huh

#

maybe ur gpu wattage is low

radiant nebula
#

so should be fine for your laptop

rated or actually does it?

radiant nebula
#

usually caps out around 100W in real world conditions

#

but it does use that extra power in benchmarks

abstract finch
#

oh shit mine does too

#

cyberpunk benchmark makes it go over 100 watts

80-100W is ideal wattage for 4050-4070 laptop gpu anyway as you don’t see much of any benefit past that

i flashed my gpu to 140W and tested it and it performed about the same if not worse and just pulled slightly more power lol (like ~4 more watts in benchmarks.. no real difference in real world gaming)
