Title is fairly self explanatory, I have an old hitachi 57S715 rear projector CRT capable of 1080i output but the graphics card and most modern things default to 720p output. I miss how well it would look when my Wii U would natively output 1080i and wonder if my windows pc could do the same.

I don't believe interlaced output is supported on these newer video cards at all

I cannot stress enough how dumb it is that my graphics card can’t be made to do something my Wii U did automatically. Yes I know interlaced is not common use these days, but cmon. Frustrating.

That's basically modern gpus (you'll find the same problem on AMD)
