If you were playing on GeForce Now, everything launched inside GFN always uses NVIDIA hardware on the cloud.

For now: to determine what's going on, open Task Manager, go to the Performance tab, and tell me how many GPUs you see, and the names of the GPUs.

I've tried setting a game's GPU usage to "High Performance NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650" instead of "Let Windows Determine" and it's still unplayable

your GPU (1650 4GB) is below the minimum requirement (1060 6GB) for that game

that is probably why you are struggling

my last card was a 1650 and it is absolutely terrible for modern gaming

most bigger games released after like early-mid 2022 expect you to have more than 4GB VRAM
