I don’t know what’s going on with my PC.

Recently, I messed up my BIOS chip, and because of that I had to replace it at a store. After replacing it, I’m facing a serious issue.

Almost 20+ times, I’ve had to flash the BIOS just to start my PC.

This is how the problem happens:

I use my PC normally

Then I turn it off for 2–3 days

When I turn it on again, the CPU LED on the motherboard starts glowing

This usually indicates a corrupted BIOS

To fix it, I have to flash the BIOS again

After flashing, the PC works completely normally for days.
But the problem comes back sometimes the next morning after a cold night, or when I turn the PC on after 2 days of not using it.

I don’t understand what is wrong with my BIOS or motherboard, and why it keeps getting corrupted again and again.

You might have gotten a bad BIOS chip if it were replaced - please contact your store on further options. Usually, recent repairs are warrantied for a very short period, even if the original product's warranty has expired (may vary by region)

Why you didn't go though with the standard RMA procedure and go with a third party repair? Is your motherboard out of warranty?

Thts doing flash the bios many times is risky or it's ok to do it

If the BIOS chip is working correctly the data should hold basically forever

It's Corrupt after some weeks or monthly

I have to flash it to run my pc again like normally, which do work but after some weeks or month's it's get corrupted it's own!

Actually, what happened is that one day I was trying to update my BIOS, and there was a power outage. Because of that, my PC turned off while the update was in progress, and my BIOS chip got destroyed. As a result, I had to replace the BIOS chip.
And after replace to new chip.
Since then, I’ve been facing an issue where the BIOS data gets corrupted even with the new BIOS chip.

Power outage especially during recovery can send additional voltages into your system if you don't have a Power Surge Protector

But after I reflash my bios again then my. Pc start working normally

I change it to new one

And how I can know tht what's part is actually having a problem!

limber onyx

Consider the old motherboard is already broken

rough relic

It's so much costly

And it's broken so easily.... Does this happen suddenly electric outage?

I have a lot of electric outages

limber onyx

Yes

Get yourself a UPS or a Power Surge Protector

They cost nothing compared to an actual PC

New hardware or official repair services (contact the motherboard manufacturer, not whatever shops you have around)
