My PC has the level of detail set to low, I think, or maybe to short. I’m not really sure how it works. Can someone help me change it? It happens in every game. I already tried from the NVIDIA panel and with other tricks, and I still couldn’t fix it. The game is set to the highest resolution
Up close it looks fine, but when I get nearer the texture improves. From far away it looks really bad
off topic but i love this
Disable game optimisation in the Nvidia app
no changes
Make sure all changes are reverted by clicking the "Revert" button and making sure it is not automatically optimised by checking the settings in the Nvidia app and disabling "Automatically optimise games...."
It happens in all my games; I’m showing you this one because it’s where it’s most noticeable. I already tried what you told me and it didn’t work.
and that´s my config on the nvidia app
I just restored all the settings in the NVIDIA app and did what you told me, I left everything like that and nothing has changed.
Missing information:
- CPU
- Storage devices
- Memory
(Where is the game installed on? Do you know the types of your storage devices? Do you know how much RAM you have? How many slots are being taken? What is their speed?)
(You can find all that in Task Manager > Performance)
"All games" - please note that if they are "games" within "Roblox" it's considered one game
This looks like a game bug than any performance issue
but do mention these missing info if any
Also try a game outside of Roblox
dbd, marvel rivals, resident evil, all games i play
Resident Evil
this game shouldn't have visible pop in at all
Yeah fill in the missing info
ssd, 16 ram, rtx 3050, gen 11 i5-11400f
Full model name of the SSD?
Also, "16 RAM" only tells us the capacity
Sorry, I haven't played Resident Evil in a long time so I don't remember well. But it does happen to me in Alien Isolation, for example.
Slots used and speed?
You might want to use CrystalDiskInfo and see what it says
Use the following benchmarks and monitoring tools to determine if your PC is performing as it should.
Benchmarks
3DMark
Black Myth: Wukong Benchmark Tool
Cinebench 2024
Cinebench R23 (TechSpot download)
CrystalDiskMark
Stability
OCCT
Memtest86
Memtest86+
Please note that these two software are similar but distinct to each other
Monitoring
CrystalDiskInfo
HWINFO
It didn't happen to me before, so I don't think it's a problem with my PC. It must be some setting in the Nvidia app, but I have no idea.
Unfortunately, the NVIDIA App cannot affect loading or LoDs in any way outside of changing game settings as part of game optimisation. If auto optimize is off...
How did you "format" your PC?
Also fill in the missing information
in the config of windows
sorry, what missing information?
i don´t speak much english, sorry
Assuming "Reset this PC" was used, that basically didn't count
We still don't know your:
SSD Model. You might want to use CrystalDiskInfo, linked here: https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/ to check what is your SSD exactly. Hopefully it's not one of these "scrubbed names"
RAM slots and speed. Open Task Manager (right click your task bar), then go to the Performance tab.

Then click "Memory"
Show the contents of the right side, with the big graph and lots of text at the bottom.
my SSD it´s not this?
In case there's more information to be had
this?
Looks fine, so the remaining thing to check is that SSD
While we're at it do you mind if you got CrystalDiskMark (different from CrystalDiskInfo) and ran a benchmark there?

You went to the wrong page it seems
(I've corrected the link in the bot. Thanks for reminding.)
@stoic gorge This is a Crucial P3 SSD, QLC Dram-less SSD
On any QLC SSD, if you fill up more than half, it will be slower than a hard drive
the only exception being that really new WD SanDisk blue but unfortunately that one's probably still rare
but either way
@rugged prawnWere you downloading ANYTHING while playing?
Browser downloads, Steam background downloads, installs, ANYTHING. Even a long file copy.
This is painful
you're still getting SATA SSD speeds here
QLC can get much worse
Either way, back on topic, time to check if any of these states were true
A question, could the problem be with my monitor and not the PC?
