You may have provided insufficient information in your tech support post. These might be useful to include to assist with troubleshooting.

  • Whether this is a desktop PC, laptop PC, or Microsoft Surface (including desktops, laptops, and tablets)
  • Full CPU name (e.g. Intel Core i7-14700K)
  • (Desktop only) Full motherboard name (e.g. MSI PRO B760M-A)
  • RAM model, slots used, and speed (including whether XMP/EXPO is in use, if a desktop). (Find this with CPU-Z or Task Manager > Performance > Memory)
  • GPU (e.g. RTX 4070)
  • Model of the storage device your OS (e.g. Windows, Linux) is installed to
  • Model of the storage device your game/app to be troubleshooted is installed to, if different from the OS drive
  • (Desktop only) PSU model and capacity
  • OS version (e.g. Windows 11 24H2. The year edition part (e.g. 24H2) is considered part of the version and should not be omitted. Similarly, for Linux distributions, include the full name of the installed release including any variant suffixes (e.g. Linux Mint 24 Cinnamon)
  • (Desktop and external monitors) Monitor model, resolution, refresh rate, and cable used (e.g. HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, DVI, or USB Type-C, including mini variants where applicable)
  • The game or app you are trying to run (please also specify where you get your games from like Steam/Battle.net/Xbox Game Pass)

Answering these questions might also help:

  • Have you reinstalled the Nvidia drivers by removing them with DDU, and reinstalling them by downloading the drivers manually and installing them?
  • Did you perform a driver rollback? If yes, by what method?
  • Have you made any changes to your PC in the past few days (including but not limited to software and hardware installations)?
  • Have you encountered any error codes/blue screens/graphical glitches when encountering the problem? If yes, describe steps to reproduce the problem. Please send a photo/screenshot/video of the problem here as well.

Undervolted

WARNING: this reduces stability

#

You probably should reset all GPU settings to defaults. Undervolting is basically overclocking but with a reversed starting point.

#

Also, fill in system details as much as you can.

Most critical is probably monitor model

Answers :
-I have Reinstalled Nvidia Drivers after removing them with DDU
-I have Reinstalled them with a manual installation software as was reccomended on another post

  • I Did not preform a driver rollback

-Since i bought this computer and Monitor (2 different shops) since day one this problem has been with me
I have sent the computer back to warrenty
I have sent the monitor back to warrenty
Both responded that there is no issue with the product
(I find it hard to believe they sat for 3 hours infront of the equipment to see if something is wrong)

-There sometimes is a graphical glitch when this happens (not all the time , it has stopped since i did all these things to try and fix it )
When it does happen , when the screen goes black , Theres these glitchy colors of distortion as if an old tv zapping itself off
i can recall the color red showing in those zappy static lines

DESCRIPTION -

The problem seems to have no laws to it
I could be gaming for a few hours and it will happen a few times or non at all
the screen would just randomly lost signal for a moment
it can happen when in-game/web browsing or when on the desktop doing nothing at all

Since you said i should undervolt i will share that this game i am playing Mortal online 2 , I would have the game crash many times , and a friend sugguested to undervolt the GPU , and since i have done that , the game no longer crashes at all
so for now i think i should keep it undervolted ?

#

--- I have bought new DP cable a few times
-- I have not tested if this problem happens on HD cable

  • I suspected the electrical wiring in my room , but i am now in a new apartment and it still happens

-I tried to disable G-Sync
--I Tried to play on lower HZ , From 144 to 120 to 100
--- I tried to play with HDR on / Off

#

I really want to fix this , i hope you can help ,o-

When the screen loses signal, does it recover? If it recovers, is it like nothing bad happened?

#

Or is whatever you're working on exited?

#

Or does your entire PC restart?

formal orbit
#

its just the screen , it loses signal for a moment and returns to the same image , nothing is effected

#

is it possible this is something with the power cables i am using for the computer / screen ?

#

i also have connected 2 Yamaha Shm-80 monitors and a subwoofer

#

could they be causing disturbance that causes this ?
