Hiya so above, I uploaded my specs. Lets get to the issue I play a lot of competitive and story games like Fortnite, Valorant, Resident Evil even when I'm playing basic games like supermarket simulator I've been getting issues with cutscenes out of sync audio, micro stutters and even freezes during a comp games and I'm not sure what to do. I've reinstalled windows 2 times both times I've gotten same issue, I thought it was due to a heat, so I cleaned my fans and reinstalled fresh thermal paste even then it still does thew same thing, I've installed the latest drivers as well as gone back to past drivers even then it stutters like crazy.

I beg can someone find away to fix my problem if possible

(unfortunately, I wont be able to fix anything atm since I'm going to bed, hopefully by tomorrow morning I should have some answers)

This computer seems to be old enough that it might be running into thermal issues

HWINFO has two modes, Summary and Sensors. Normally, when asked, you'll want to use the Sensors-only mode to get the information that may be needed (e.g. temperatures, power usage, clock speeds.)

When opening HWINFO, make sure to tick "Sensors-only" so that it does not open the summary display first. Then click Start.

On some hardware, HWINFO may ask if you want to monitor them or not, as there may be some potential conflicts if they were monitored. Usually these aren't important enough to matter if it's being monitored or not.

Once HWINFO's sensor status window open, look for the relevant sections and screenshot them. If you're unsure, screenshot the entire thing. This window is scrollable, so you'll need to scroll and take multiple screenshots.

If you know what you're doing, these are the items you'll probably need (names may vary; below are samples from Intel CPUs; some items may not exist for your particular system):

  • Core VIDs
  • CPU Package Temperature
  • Core Thermal Throttling
  • Package/Ring Thermal Throttling
  • CPU Package Power
  • PL1 Power Limit (Static)
  • PL2 Power Limit (Static)
  • MOS
  • VR VOUT
  • +12V
  • Vcore
  • CPU Fan
  • Pump Fan
  • GPU Temperature
  • GPU Hot-spot
  • GPU Core Clock
  • GPU Power
  • GPU +12V
  • GPU Fan
  • GPU Performance Limit Reasons
  • Windows Hardware Errors (WHEA)

ive posted those stuff here let me know what to do please

#

@long matrix sorry to ping u

#

ive posted that information above

If a game is actually running and you're for some reason not having the GPU ramp up at all

#

Have you ever replaced the laptop's charger?

sinful spire
#

nope

#

original

long matrix
#

Check Lenovo Vantage/similar and look for anything that deals with the laptop's performance state. You might want to try toggling it to literally anything else, then back to Balanced or higher, or the equivalent used by your laptop maker

#

Restart the PC between each step.

i have it back to that, ive used differnet settings and always have the same outcome

Are all your affected games installed on that Fanxiang

#

This SSD is... extremely low quality

#

It doesn't perform well at all and is likely to crap out randomly

#

If they are, please do a sanity check with putting a game on your main SSD.

sinful spire
#

so ur saying i should test out on my main ssd

#

a game

long matrix
#

yes

#

since windows should fit in a 128gb ssd see if you can temporarily make space

sinful spire
