Hey my game looks like that and gets laggy when i move with my mouse in game with frame generation on, it looks pretty normal when i have it disabled. Does anyone know how to fix it?

You may have provided insufficient information in your tech support post. These might be useful to include to assist with troubleshooting.

  • Whether this is a desktop PC, laptop PC, or Microsoft Surface (including desktops, laptops, and tablets)
  • Full CPU name (e.g. Intel Core i7-14700K)
  • Full motherboard name (e.g. MSI PRO B760M-A)
  • RAM model, slots used, and speed (including whether XMP/EXPO is in use, if a desktop). (Find this with CPU-Z or Task Manager > Performance > Memory)
  • GPU (e.g. RTX 4070)
  • Model of the storage device your OS (e.g. Windows, Linux) is installed to
  • Model of the storage device your game/app to be troubleshooted is installed to, if different from the OS drive
  • PSU model and capacity (not applicable for laptops and Microsoft Surfaces)
  • OS version (e.g. Windows 11 24H2. The year edition part (e.g. 24H2) is considered part of the version and should not be omitted. Similarly, for Linux distributions, include the full name of the installed release including any variant suffixes (e.g. Linux Mint 24 Cinnamon)
  • Monitor model, resolution, refresh rate, and cable used (e.g. HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, DVI, or USB Type-C, including mini variants where applicable)
  • The game or app you are trying to run (please also specify where you get your games from like Steam/Battle.net/Xbox Game Pass)

Answering these questions might also help:

  • Have you reinstalled the Nvidia drivers by removing them with DDU, and reinstalling them by downloading the drivers manually and installing them?
  • Did you perform a driver rollback? If yes, by what method?
  • Have you made any changes to your PC in the past few days (including but not limited to software and hardware installations)?
  • Have you encountered any error codes/blue screens/graphical glitches when encountering the problem? If yes, describe steps to reproduce the problem. Please send a photo/screenshot/video of the problem here as well.

Also:

  • Game version
  • Game settings
  • Did you replace any DLLs?
  • Did you mod the game?
  • Did you use any override options in NVIDIA App/NVPI?

hmm. given that I'm not seeing any of these issues on my end I think it might be a good idea to try DDUing and re-configuring any relevant settings just in case
