Hey everyone,

Just had an egpu setup (amd CPU and Nvidia GPU), tried to get either image sharpening or scaling + sharpening to work but it never seems to have any effect. Any tips? Thanks!

Is your eGPU output from the laptop monitor or external monitor plugged to the GPU?

It's a NUC plugged into an egpu dock using occulink

The monitor is plugged into the NUC

Plug your monitor to the GPU itself

You're basically wasting bandwidth and performance and you're not even using the GPU properly since you plugged your monitor into the iGPU on your NUC. The scaling and features definitely do not work as you are not even using Nvidia GPU

The principles are the same on both eGPU and Desktop, plug your monitor DIRECTLY to the GPU
