Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing severe screen corruption after updating my laptop’s NVIDIA drivers to versions 580.97 and 580.88. The issue does not occur when using driver version 577.00, so it seems to be related to the newer patches.

When the problem happens, the display is filled with heavy pixelation and color artifacts (see attached photo). The laptop becomes very difficult to use in this state.

System Specs:
• Lenovo Legion 7i Pro 2025
• Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX
• NVIDIA RTX 5080 Laptop GPU

Troubleshooting tried so far:
• Rolling back to driver 577.00 (issue disappears)
• Clean installing the driver using DDU (issue still happens on 580.97 and 580.88)
• Toggling between hybrid and discrete GPU modes (no issue with discrete gp,u but yes with the 5080)

Has anyone else with a Legion 7i Pro or RTX 5080 laptop experienced this? Any known fixes or should I wait for the next driver release?
