#G-Sync CMP 40HX

Sorry I'm not arguing right now, but ASUS CMP 40HX is pretty much official and had a presentation at least digital one, it was "feel free to buy" for anyone who wanted it. Yes they're not designed for gaming/general use, but who said they require unofficial drivers to "work"? NVIDIA has official drivers supporting CMP 40HX to make them work the way it's intended - mining. Maybe you mean the way it is not meant to be used like 3D rendering? Does word "Mining" says to you that every such GPU is unofficial/unauthorized? How would you know my purpose of using this graphics card and responding with this?
I was just wondering if G-Sync will work with CMP 40HX if the video output GPU is NVIDIA (e.g GTX 960). That's all.
First, the official CMP 40HX doesn't even have any outputs to start with. Plus, Nvidia officially locked out the ability to use the card for gaming with the card locked out from the Windows Graphics Settings option as it has its own Device ID similar to Tesla GPUs. You still can use the card for CUDA and 3D workstation as long as the program allows you to select it.
And regarding your question, the G-Sync support is based on whatever card you are plugged from the monitor to the GPU
Yes, I do know it doesn't have any working outputs (on ASUS there are not working but physically present outputs)
And about that, thanks you solved it
We have people buying AliExpress GPUs with the CMP 40HX on modified boards with display outputs and then complaining why it doesn't work with official drivers or for gaming
just saying
