  • Laptop Model (If you are using a laptop)
  • CPU Model
  • Motherboard Model
  • RAM Model & Speed (Please tell us if you have enabled XMP or using custom timings)
  • GPU Model
  • SSD/HDD Model & Capacity (Specify where is Windows installed to)
  • PSU Model & Capacity (Not applicable for laptop)
  • Windows Version (Please also state the Windows version as well, such as 23H2 or 24H2, etc.)
  • Monitor model, resolution, refresh rate and cable used (HDMI or DisplayPort)
  • Apps & games you are trying to run (Please also specify where you get your games from like Steam/Battle.net/Xbox Game pass)

In addition to the following specs, we would like you to answer the following questions:

  • Have you reinstalled the Nvidia Drivers by removing them with DDU and reinstalling them by downloading the drivers manually and installing them?
  • Have you made any changes to your PC/Laptop in the past few days (such as software/hardware install)?
  • Have you encountered any error codes/bluescreens/graphical glitches when encountering the problem? Describe steps to reproduce the problem. Please send a photo/screenshot/video of the problem here as well.

Missing: specs of all connected monitors

I have just one monitor. M27q 1440p 165hz switched from 1080p 60hz, GPU wasn't working this hard before, I understand that 1440p has more pixels but I just watch twitch it's not suppose to full blast like this

Doesn't look like full blast since GPU usage is minimal

as for the clock speeds, it is NOT a true indicator if the program is on full load or not

You need to read it with GPU usage + Clock Speed + Power wattage

sometimes it MUST run at a certain clock speed to run especially on high end displays or resolution

power wattage while watching is around 10-20, not high pretty normal in my opinion? I guess you're right im overreacting badly

there is the minimum clock speed and you are always doing stuff on your PC

your GPU needs to render the video and display anyway

watching a video isn't idling

Your RAM is also running at full speed all the time as well, it's the nature of RAM in general
