why is no one helping me
Found the thread
@lavish raptor you've somehow managed to post the relevant image (though it basically says nothing) in a different thread, but I'd start by doing this:
- revert settings
- reinstall the game
- look up where the game stores config files and remove them
@keen ocean
Have you tried repairing the Steam game files?
Please note that the NVIDIA game profile optimization/optimize game settings may be wildly inaccurate and should not be used blindly, with the optimization profile should only be used as the minimal baseline for your graphics settings.
It is common for the optimization settings to not show up, or be not able to be applied directly, in the following situations:
- game is extremely new (wait a few days before checking again)
- laptop hardware, especially involving low end RTX GPUs
- CPU and/or GPU is below the game's minimum specifications
- game is from Xbox Game Pass
You can revert the changes done by the NVIDIA app by pressing the “REVERT” button on each game in the Graphics Section. If you want to fine tune the graphical settings to reach the desired frame rate and image quality, you will need to look up individual video settings for each game from other sources.
Press revert in the Nvidia app game settings
i have already reinstalled and reverted the app but it seems worst then before now it keeps instant crashing, but i got a strong pc that should easily run assetto corsa
this seems weird
i got 2 assetto corsas in the nvidea app
but one of em has like an exclamation mark on it
and as you can see in the video i tried to open them via steam aswell as from the nvidea app
but it keeps insta crashing
but my pc can easily run warzone with no problem
i did update my driver for the first time since yesterday
do i maybe need to update something else
weird tho because i can run other games just fine
hmm
Never use the rollback option in Device Manager; this will break the drivers and any apps that rely on it. You'll end up needing to DDU for real anyway, so you did double the work.
If you have any issues with your graphics card after updating the Nvidia drivers, please perform the following:
- Remove the existing Nvidia driver by running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) here: (AutoDDU can be told to use a custom driver link, or you can use the manual version located here.). For a utility to automate DDU as much as possible follow this guide.
- You can download drivers from the official site below. (You will need to specify your GPU and operating system.) On a laptop, both iGPU and dGPU drivers should be installed for full functionality and performance.
- Ensure that your WiFi/Ethernet/Internet is turned off or disconnected before installation of the driver (Running the .exe file) to prevent Windows Update from overriding the driver installation.
- Disconnect all other monitors (except one main monitor) and all unnecessary USB devices before driver installation to prevent device conflicts or black screens.
- During driver installation, please select the Custom option when prompted and ensure that Peform a clean installation is checked/ticked before proceeding with the installation.
- Please restart your computer after the driver installation is completed.
try an older driver
i did that too
didnt worked
its only with assetto corsa tho
thats the weird part
and it was doing it too whilst having the older one that why i updated it
do you think its something in steam or the game itself
my driver? or nvidea app?
have you tried undoing the game optimization, then nuking config files the game uses, then try starting the game again?
I think you did revert it but just to be sure also manually delete the game's config files
something not done from the nvidia app in other words
You also appear to haven't tried fixing/repairing/reinstalling the game itself
if the above doesn't work, follow up with a total uninstall of the game, then delete the game's install folder. Then you reinstall the game.
do you mind send me a video how this works i dont know how to do this
Note: %USERPROFILE% refers to your Windows user folder (e.g. C:\Users\UsernameHere\)
This can be copy-pasted into a File Explorer address bar and it'll just work
allright ill try it in a minute
ima crash out idk what to do
i cant do the steps idk where to click
i got an bigger problem now
what do i need to do now
Also, please disable "Automatically optimise apps" In the Nvidia app settings
Did you reinstalled the drivers?
what do you mean reinstall?
Next time reinstall but don't enable the NVIDIA app

Enjoy this guide and thank you for all your kind words! 🥰
- NVIDIA Drivers (use manual search): https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/drivers/
- Radeon Drivers: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-6000-series/a...
So all this while you haven't did all the troubleshooting steps?
the trouble shooting was litterly uninstall the game and reinstall the game / checking intregerty of the game in steam / revert gamne in nvidea
was it more to it?
idk how to do this
Have you opened this link? @lavish raptor
i did but idk what all this means
So we're actually dealing with a kid @nova aurora
then press the "ENTER" key on your keyboard
On some keyboards, it may be labelled "RETURN"
See the contents of this folder?
Delete all of them.
i found this
Then start the game again.
the assetto corsa map or in the cfg
Everything you see here. (I'd consider sending them to the Recycle Bin first just in case.)
It looks like your installation of Assetto Corsa is broken
It's not a driver issue if this error shows up
hmm
Did you even repair the game files with steam?
Right click on the game, press properties. Press installed files "Verify File Integrity"
i did
ima reinstall the whole game again
i noticed i had 2 maps named assetto corsa
i deleted both of them and now ima reinstall the game via steam
nope still crashing
it worked for 5 min
then
i tried remapping some keys
and it crashed
and now it keeps crashing when i start it up
Try doing it WITHOUT remapping any keys
If the game stops crashing after you don't do this, I'd suspect you've a bad interaction between the game and what's likely your current keyboard layout
no remapping as in my steer
and i got 3 of them
but once i go to the menue
it already crashes
without even remapping
does it have to do with my motherbaord?
or my gpu
maybe because i have a moving background??
nope also doesnt work
the one i bought the computer from told me that one of the usb ports didnt worked
thats the only thing
So not able to fix?
Hmm
It looks like you're using additional controllers
Can you repro the crash with nothing except your keyboard and mouse connected?
I did
