Guys I need help, I've been having this issue for so long and I can't seem to find anything to make it work. I have a 4070ti, the problem i have is that whenever I'm playing or just not have anything open it seems to always crash. I would have no display, and my fans are all the way ramped up to the max. I have to force to do a force shut down in order for me to reboot the computer. Me needs helpppp

In order to understand your problem/issue further, we would like you to provide additional specs of your PC/Laptop. Please provide the following specs:
- Laptop Model (If you are using a laptop)
- CPU Model
- Motherboard Model
- RAM Model & Speed (Please tell us if you have enabled XMP or using custom timings)
- GPU Model
- SSD/HDD Model & Capacity (Specify where is Windows installed to)
- PSU Model & Capacity (Not applicable for laptop)
- Windows Version (Please also state the Windows version as well, such as 23H2 or 24H2, etc.)
- Monitor model, resolution, refresh rate and cable used (HDMI or DisplayPort)
- Apps & games you are trying to run (Please also specify where you get your games from like Steam/Battle.net/Xbox Game pass)
In addition to the following specs, we would like you to answer the following questions:
- Have you reinstalled the Nvidia Drivers by removing them with DDU and reinstalling them by downloading the drivers manually and installing them?
- Have you made any changes to your PC/Laptop in the past few days (such as software/hardware install)?
- Have you encountered any error codes/bluescreens/graphical glitches when encountering the problem? Describe steps to reproduce the problem. Please send a photo/screenshot/video of the problem here as well.
Also, does it crash while not playing games?
Yes it also happens when not playing games
I am not sure what it could be or why this happens, I've took it in store to get it checked but on their end they said they found nothing
Did you bring the entire PC or just the GPU?
If the GPU came clean on their end I'd start investigating the rest of the PC
At a minimum, can I know what CPU does your computer have?
Also, open HWINFO in sensors mode and show the contents of the GPU section
Use the following benchmarks and monitoring tools to determine if your PC is performing as it should.
Benchmarks
3DMark
Black Myth: Wukong Benchmark Tool
Cinebench 2024
Cinebench R23 (TechSpot download)
CrystalDiskMark
Stability
OCCT
Memtest86
Memtest86+
Please note that these two software are similar but distinct to each other
Monitoring
CrystalDiskInfo
HWINFO
HWINFO has two modes, Summary and Sensors. Normally, when asked, you'll want to use the Sensors-only mode to get the information that may be needed (e.g. temperatures, power usage, clock speeds.)
When opening HWINFO, make sure to tick "Sensors-only" so that it does not open the summary display first. Then click Start.
On some hardware, HWINFO may ask if you want to monitor them or not, as there may be some potential conflicts if they were monitored. Usually these aren't important enough to matter if it's being monitored or not.
Once HWINFO's sensor status window open, look for the relevant sections and screenshot them. If you're unsure, screenshot the entire thing. This window is scrollable, so you'll need to scroll and take multiple screenshots.
If you know what you're doing, these are the items you'll probably need (names may vary; below are samples from Intel CPUs; some items may not exist for your particular system):
- Core VIDs
- CPU Package Temperature
- Core Thermal Throttling
- Package/Ring Thermal Throttling
- CPU Package Power
- PL1 Power Limit (Static)
- PL2 Power Limit (Static)
- MOS
- VR VOUT
- +12V
- Vcore
- CPU Fan
- Pump Fan
- GPU Temperature
- GPU Hot-spot
- GPU Core Clock
- GPU Power
- GPU +12V
- GPU Fan
- GPU Performance Limit Reasons
- Windows Hardware Errors (WHEA)
I brought the entire pc to get it checked and nothing was found
This is what I currently have
did it not crash with them?
No it didn't crash with them
It crashed before and they replaced some parts
With them
But I still had the same problem
what did they change
The cpu
and also do the HWmonitor thing
Okay
This is a system integrator prebuild?
hmm
have you ever reinstalled Windows on this PC?
Also get around to this first
Have you also installed all the drivers and chipsets with it?
You need to install them before even using the PC or installing the GPU drivers
Hint: Windows Update alone is not enough and tends to miss stuff
Go to your motherboard maker's site and download everything you need first. Even if you think it's installed, do it anyway. Go with this order.
- Chipset software
- everything else
Can you send a full specs list? What version of windows are you on? Have you updated your Nvidia drivers and other drivers? Have you checked event viewer to see what errors are happening right before the crash?
Im on windows 11
Everything is up to dage
Yes I've checked event viewer, but all it says "previous system shutdown was unexpected"
And before that it says IOMMU fault reporting has been initialized
send hwmonitor
This is what i got for the Hwmonitor
Not sure what any of this means
BSOD/power outage?
Nothing looks weird here. When opening Device Manager do you see any auto expanded categories? If yes, you're likely still missing drivers
If no, now run 3DMark test, while HWINFO is still open. Once that's done, show both 3DMark results and HWINFO's sensors again.
Is 3d mark test what i have to download?
Im not sure

HWINFO
Okay ill do that rn
Thats what i see for device manager
Now show the contents of HWINFO's GPU section again
Is it this?
nothing looks weird here. now use the wukong benchmark and run it in a loop in a window. observe hwinfo numbers, specifically the gpu ones
They look somewhat similar
keep it running until it crashes/black screens or after a few hours have passed
The times it crashes a lot is when I am playing Overwatch or Marvel rivals
This does sound like your problem might be CPU-related than anything else
The thing is even when im not playing either game and i have nothing open it still crashes
and the cpu was replaced
- look for any BIOS updates for your motherboard and apply it
- test with your RAM's XMP/EXPO turned off first
- disable PBO
- drop clock multipliers
I retook it to the store to get it checked because i continued having the same issue and I was told they couldnt find anything
Okay okay ill do that right now
I just had it crash again
I had nothing open
Contact the system manufacturer/system integrator instead of the shop if the shop is not the same as the SI
