Custom resolutions are a hit and a miss and may not work due to the timings of your Monitor. Custom resolution not at your native resolution or aspect ratio is considered overclocking on your monitor
but it used to work until a series of odd things happened today and after resetting my computer it no longer works
Custom resolution relies on strict timings that wears off over time the longer you use a custom resolution
but the thing is
If you are setting custom resolutions to game instead, please train your shooting aim instead and change the FOV
my monitor is a 180 hz monitor but the native max hertz is 120hz
its been like that since the day i bought it
Please use a Displayport cable
Do not use HDMI
is hdmi to display port fine?
No
it must be Displayport to Displayport
oh
when i get that will the native res show 180hz?
it should
Also, what is your GPU and your monitor model and resolution?
Please state the full specs of your PC
Your 1060 need a display port for full functionality
ok thanks for the help
Also your monitor may not support Gysnc as it is not rated for Gsync compatible/Freesync Premium
but i also have some light problem that i havent been able to fix for ages if you could know solution
but i have this odd white tint
yeah i figured cuz it doesnt work
i just dont use it anywhere
but my whole monitor has a white tint color and idk how to get rid of it
like black colors look a bit grey
but it just popped up one day
it was fine on the first few days
but its like a clear white sheet is stuck onto my monitor
