green dots???

i cant provide image as screenshot doesnt show but basically My gpu has managed to put green dots on a monitor but only 1/2 of them i swapped them over cable wise and it then swapped to the other but one is a display port and then other is a hdmi however both use hdmi cables but one has a male display6 port to female hdmi, im using a geforce 1060 6gb which has pretty much no issues, ive tried updating drivers and nothing seems to help im confused as this wasnt an issue earlier until i spilt stuff on my pc however thats all been fixed now any ideas would be appriciated thanks

always one setting lol, turns out chnaging my refresh rate to (interlaced) fixed it straight away

Investigate if a different cable helps. Running interlaced halves the amount of data transmitted

I've seen marginal HDMI cables produce stray hot pixels or flicker
