#Aspect Ratio Reverts

this is happening to me to i never got to fixed the problem have u?
Custom resolutions outside of Native resolution and aspect ratio may not work properly.
Also, please properly learn how to aim and shoot and change the FoV rather than using a stretched resolution
Stretched Resolution used to provide small performance benefits (FPS, input delay, etc) on some devices but today with modern devices and monitors it is likely to make performance slightly worse since most monitors and video cards are optimized for standard resolutions
Stretched Resolution supposedly makes it easier to hit opponents since they are stretched, but information I've gleaned from the Voltaic Aim Training community seems to contradict that because ultimately it's about Mouse Control and your brain has to make the same just-in-time adjustments regardless of what is effectively an FOV change
Stretched Resolution has never been something that Epic Games supports and they often actively make it difficult to use which seems to be the case right now because I remove at least a couple posts each week where someone says their stretched resolution settings don't work in-game just in the lobby
tl;dr it's probably not worth it in 2025
I've tried fixing this and it still wouldn't work even when i don't use stretched..
Use of the Custom Resolutions/Modes feature requires knowledge of your monitor’s supported timing standards and detailed timing parameters. This information must come from your monitor manufacturer. The appropriate timing standards or parameters must be used when adding a custom mode/resolution. Please note that any custom resolutions outside of manufacturer specifications may reduce system stability, cause reductions in computer performance or broken features such as HDR and G-Sync.
If you have issues reading text or seeing images due to the high resolution panel, please open the Settings app > System > Display > Scale and set your desired scale accordingly. If you are intending to set a custom resolution to create a stretched resolution for shooter games, please train your aim instead and adjust the FOV in your game settings accordingly.
