i see Videos on YT but am scared to do it as i dunno how to do it safely, i did it once on GTX 1070 i used have (sold for 2060) and it was amazing, i had very low temops in 80% of AAA games it vas on avg at 68'C - 72'C from 76 - 80'C.
78-81C
Your temps are still well within specifications; check with 3DMark to determine if you're getting the correct GPU performance. Usually, if your GPU's fans aren't maxed out in the first place, there's still headroom.
Undervolting can cause instability
Use the following benchmarks and monitoring tools to determine if your PC is performing as it should.

i want to lower power consumption and heating (to lower the temps in short) if possible that is the main reason, i cant play AAA games during summer cause how fast my room gets heated up.
i did it somehow on 1070 and it was a life saivor plus my GPUs life is prologend with undervolting, many say that on Internet and YT
Same method as you did with the 1070
the same rules apply to 16/20, 30, and 40 series cards, just with different frequencies for voltages (newer GPUs clock much higher naturally)
If you're not sure, start with 900mV
