If this is a laptop:
Laptop displays are not connected to their dedicated GPUs, instead using the integrated GPU on the CPU. If your laptop model has a MUX switch, you can use it to bypass the iGPU. If it does not, you'll have to make the adjustments you want in your iGPU's control panel instead ("Intel Graphics Command Center" / "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition").
If this is a desktop PC:
Make sure all of your monitors are connected to the ports of your graphics card, not to the motherboard. If you are unsure or don't know what this means, take a picture of the back of your PC and send it into this channel.
anyone?
Its a desktop and its connected to my gpu
See the last sentence in the post I've linked to?
Take a photo of the back of your computer, and upload it here.

Describe this for me, then.
Your monitor has a video cable that ends up connecting to your computer.
Next to this connector on the computer end, are there USB ports on the same panel?
it's in the middle where my gpu is
You didn't answer my question.
At this point, open Paint and draw something resembling the back of your computer.
