#Migrated from AMD Bad preformance on 4070? help fix pls

Hey guys i migrated from AMD to Nvidia today i got a 4070. its a Gigabyte 3 fan aib model nothing to crazy but im having prefformance issues with the lastest driver insalled and just in general. I play mainly Escape from tarkov but i have far worse preformance than my 6900xt had. Gpu usage shows 26 percent usage and its with a i7 12700k i haven't installed any bloat ware from intel etc. CPU sits at 26 percent usage and occasionally spike to 30. I have stress tested both cpu and ram on occt as well as gpu and not seeing any errors what am i missing lol? im more than happy to hop into a voice channel and stream my pc cant figure out what's wrong

i have tested cpu its maxing out at 4.7 all core and 62c with no errors same on ram no errors and 3d adaptive shows no erros on 4070 and good temps

after a reinstall it works a little better but has serious fps drop im getting 40 fps in d2 lol

im gonna ddu and reinstall a different driver 2 driver back

dayz gets 70 fps fornite doesnt even hit 100 its not just tarkov it runs like crap in genreal and ive tested hardware even used different mobo and gpu is litteraly just 4070 just dont know how to fix

Fortnite is known for being poorly optimized and is also subject to Unreal Engine traversal stutter. Still, there are things you can do to keep things running smoothly.

  • Some traversal (streaming) stutter is inevitable in the Battle Royale mode/maps. Still, they should not end up in freezes.
  • Do not use Performance Mode as your rendering engine; this is designed for older GPUs and will likely be slower than DX11 or DX12 Low on RTX GPUs.
  • Do not use plain resolution scaling on RTX GPUs. Use DLSS instead. The image quality will be significantly higher, and you can use even lower scales than you'd normally use with scaling.
  • Fortnite is best installed on an SSD.
  • Fortnite does not install streamed assets out of the box. Make sure that "Pre-download Streamed Assets" option is checked in Install Options while installing Fortnite.
