EVGA 2060 SC Ultra not displaying but everything else turns on

So I have a EVGA 2060 SC Ultra I got from a buddy who said it worked but it wouldn’t work in his pc. I have a RTX 3060 as well and it works fine in mine I can actually run a 3080 TI in mine and it runs fine (different buddy owns that.) and I was just wondering what could be causing my gpu not to display but other wise turn on and do everything else fine.

Perhaps try to reword this as its awfully confusing..

But..

• Your friend has a 2060 that doesn't work in his PC but he says it does work.

• On a separate PC you have a 3060 and 3080 ti that does work and you say it works fine

• You're asking why your GPU isn't displaying. Did you mean your friends GPU?

Or.. you have a 2060 that wouldn't work in either PC yet he says it works fine?

Or.. across two PCs a 3060 and 3080 ti work fine but the 2060 doesn't

He had it in an old build and it worked fine. When he upgraded his pc it didn’t work anymore. So he gave me it. And it’s fans spin up and work it just doesn’t display and sorry about the spelling I’m a lil slow

And litterally any other gpu I’ve tried works fine

There’s 0 damnage to this card.

But I don’t have a MB that can diagnose things

It might be a bad GPU then if every other GPU works perfectly fine

It's also confusing because you say it works fine, but also say it doesn't display.

If its not displaying.. that's not working fine lol

So it stopped working after he upgraded you said?

Or he upgraded because it stopped working?

It worked up until he tried to boot it in a new build…

And currently

Everything minus display works

So just to confirm this 2060 doesn't work in your PC or your friends PC right?

But yours is fine with a 3060 and 3080 ti. And your friends is fine with any other GPU too?

Yeah. This GPU in his old build worked fine. It was his new one that it wouldn’t work when he booted it.

Probably shorted something out

The fact you have multiple cards that work perfectly fine in your PC

That work perfectly fine in your friends PC

Yet the 2060 doesn't at all
