A week ago I had a problem similar to the one I have but with video games. I solved it by removing the e cores and hyperthreading.
Now when I open applications like Spotify, the mouse freezes. Someone knows?

Undo what you did first

After undoing that, is it every app or just Spotify that causes the mouse to briefly freeze?

flat socket
#

discord sometimes

#

and in games solved but not to much

#

only that i did is ddu uninstaller, install new dirvers, and take 0 e cores and unable de hypertherading

#

at the nvidia drivers i have all default

#

for example , in cs or valorant i have capped de fps to 144(my hz) and sometimes when i look arround i have that micro stutt

#

the only that i changed is that :

if u know tell me

flat socket

it can be de hardware acceleration at spotigy or disc?

There's not much you can really do here though, as you're basically stuck between vsync off and regular vsync at 144 (laggy) or 72 (half refresh)

#

You probably want to do a sanity check just in case

#

Try playing a game with no externally set frame rate limits. Just turn on in-game vsync and test how smooth and how laggy it is. Leave Reflex ON

ko

#

i try

#

and i say

#

but the problems are at w11 too

#

when i open apps like discord or spotify

sinful maple
#

Hmm

#

Open a video and play it. Now try opening these apps. Does that video freeze?

flat socket
#

at 60 fps it laggs too

#

my computer is beter with 0 ecores and without hiperthreading

sinful maple
flat socket
#

nope

#

only i install cpu and gpu dirvers

#

with 0 e cores and no hyperthreading runs better but no with 0 problems

Considering how strange your experience is, I'll start asking

#

How did you install Windows 11?

#

Did you check what BIOS version you are on and if there's anything newer? On LGA1700 it's a good idea to always update it

flat socket
#

bios is updated

#

w11 installed the last week

#

In the Nvidia control panel, how much should I set the refresh rate to?

usb

sinful maple
flat socket
#

with freesync is better

#

at games too

sinful maple
#

Did you ever use any third party tools to modify Windows? This includes "debloaters/debloat" scripts, "anti-telemetry", and similar

flat socket
#

nope

#

its legal w11

sinful maple
#

Has this problem always existed?

flat socket
#

a little bit

#

at valorant when the roun starts gives me that micro lag

sinful maple
#

Can you show me the contents of all of the following?

Task Manager > Perfornance > Memory
Task Manager > Performance > [whichever Disk your C: is on]
Task Manager > Performance > [whichever Disk your games are on, if it's different]

flat socket
#

all my games don ´t take 60º

#

*C

#

at gpu and cpy

#

*cpu

If the firmware update check passes/no updates are available, now is a good time to consider clean installing Windows and drivers. Only install drivers and the minimum needed to install and play your games. See how they perform.

#

Do not change any core/HT settings.

#

(This goes without saying, but before reinstalling Windows, reset your BIOS settings.)

flat socket
#

okey

#

ummm

#

my rtx4060ti 16gb don´t take 10% at games

#

only like 4% and mi cpu 50 | 70 %

sinful maple
#

Unusually high CPU usage?
