#Can't choose the correct dGPU in Windows 10

I am trying to help someone set up a dual GPU setup. They have both an RTX 3090 and an RTX 2070 Super installed on their system. However, they cannot get a game running on their 3090, as Windows only shows the 2070 Super as an option.
I did a similar setup on Windows 11, and there's a new "Preferred GPU" setting that works perfectly for this, but not in Windows 10.

In case you're wondering why, this is to run the game on the 3090, and Lossless Scaling Frame Generation on the 2070 Super. I got this to work with a 4060 Ti and a 1660 Super on Windows 11, and it completely negates the FPS hit from LSFG, resulting in a 20-40% improvement in framerate.

Due to a lot of complex reasons, video needs to be outputted from the GPU running Lossless Scaling. In this persons case, their display is connected to their 2070S, but they want to use their 3090 to run the games.

I'm gonna assume that you know more than me here, but generally the rule is "GPU the display is connected to = GPU used to render" (for desktops at least). I do not know whether Windows considers two dGPUs a supported use case

I'm a bit late, sorry
All this has been solved with a registry edit, and it works well.
