#this keeps happening

I literally sent my pc in for repair because of this but they said the game runs fine when they tried it
Got it back today and it crashed 2 times in that game
The pc just keeps running but the GPU seems to get shut off
- your psu might be too weak for ur gpu or u didnt plug it in correctly 2. ur pc gets too hot 3. old drivers
- PSU supports 650 Watt
- PC was only at around 50° before crashing
- All drivers are up to date
Though in performance settings should the GPU have 100% Power Maximum? Or could that’ve been the issue
no thats not the problem
watts dont determine that much
tell me ur psus name
AZZA PSAZ 650W
whats ur gpu and cpu
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: RTX 3060
actually this could also be a problem
if ur running a game thats hard to run on high settings
but it doesnt seem to lag in that video
Subnautica is generally chill with GPU and CPU usage I believe, I can run games like COD for hours on end with no issues at all
well u can ask @dense onyx cuz i dont really know what else could be the problem
Yeah okay and thanks for taking your time 🙏
also how old is ur gpu
ur gpu might be dying but i highly doubt thats the case
I sent it in for repair and for them it worked completely fine, I believe they double checked everything, I don’t know much about computers but already tried checking everything I can
I’m even using a new cable to plug into the psu
probably got something to do with the games settings then
then the gpus probably too weak for certain games and stuff
But why would it turn off completely and not just crash the application
thjat usually happens when the psu is not enough to power up the gpu
or when its overheating
does it only crash in 1 game or all?
even non demanding ones
at the seller they could render the entire project multiple times, they also ran the game for an entire day
Only Subnautica
It used to work fine before I reinstalled it some months ago
And Blender always worked fine too
I also tried both the game and Blender on all SSD’s I have
Same results
Subnautica is one of the least demanding games I have
then its probably got something with settings
try reinstalling the game idf that works i guess
Tried different settings in game before sending it back to the company I got the pc from, even on 1080p and different render engines there was no change
Will do but from experience that won’t fix anything
it could fix it in this situation
I’ll definitely reinstall it again, just not getting my hopes up
uve already done it?
Yeah sure
I probably spent 1 month chatting with tech support from Subnautica to figure out solution, nothing worked, also made multiple posts here, googled, asked ChatGPT, tested out the Ram and stuff like that, nothing seemed to change anything
its probably the gpu dying but only in 1 game is whats confusing
I wanted to upgrade anyway to get more out of Blender so it might be time
Yes exactly you get it
I also thought of the wall outlets
I tried both that are near my desk
The only ones I didn’t try are at my bed
And the pc is plugged in directly into the outlet
if only one game is crashing its probably that games fault
and nothing to do with components
especially if uve got more demanding games that ur pc can run fine
Blender is only using 50% of the GPU, if that crashes too then I don’t know anymore
I think so, still weird
Where could I see that
DDR4, 3200 MHz
