#Gpu usage

What CPU, GPU, and game are we talking about here?
Different games will have different requirements for both CPU and GPU
Cpu : i5 10400f Gpu: rtx 3060 12gb
Games are Roblox,Valorant
i get like 90 fps on roblox and 130 in val
And my fans are about to blow up when i'm in game
Open up HWiNFO in sensors-only mode, run any of those games, take screenshots of the HWiNFO window (specifically CPU and GPU sensors, but just screenshotting everything would be fine too)
Is this a prebuilt PC, or did you assemble it yourself?
It was prebuilt but i switched the gpu
Ill try but imma go into custom games in valorant, my fans are so loud and spinning fast im scared to play in a 10 minute short match
There doesn't to be anything wrong per se, but you may want to consider opening up the computer and clean the heatsinks and repasted for the CPU
It's on the upper end of the thermal range, which may explain the fans being audible, if the fan ramping up is the CPU
Of course, stock fans are usually pretty loud in the first place when loaded...
ohh i yea i can try cleaning it, i think it was 5 months ago when i cleaned it
with compressor
thanks for the answers
Also you can check if it's the CPU or GPU this way:
Ocbase is the home of OCCT, the most popular all-in-one stability / stress testing / benchmarking / monitoring tool available for PC
Try running the Stability > CPU test with the default settings. Eventually the CPU fan will ramp. If you can hear it, you got the source.
If it doesn't, then try the 3D Adaptive test. See if you can hear the GPU fans ramp
Once you have determined the source of the fan noise, if you have already re-mounted the cooling after a repaste
I'd probably consider either: replacing the CPU cooler entirely (make sure it works with your likely specialised board), or replacing the video card
Depending on the source
Yeah i tried it, it's definetly cpu
Time to decide what to do with the CPU fan then
