If you don't have a laptop, please take a photo of the back of your PC

Please try using DDU to remove drivers and monitor information, and then let it reinstall drivers and see if it improves.

Something is inconsistent.

Was this computer originally not using the NVIDIA GPU?

Yeah, you should be getting these options, so see if it's just the drivers acting up

GTX 1660 ti, i5 9400F

also that cpu is old by 2022

#

new old stock?

#

if you were sold the computer as new, keep in mind that you might have been "scammed" in terms of not being aware what the most current gen of intel cpus are

because you could have gotten a 11th or 12th gen at that point

As the messages indicate, something is seriously wrong with Windows Update on your computer. You probably have a bunch of things broken that are manifesting as various bugs

#

Stop using AutoDDU since it may be unsafe.

#

Instead, in an admin Terminal window, run the following:

#

sfc /scannow

then

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Restart the PC. Then, run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

#

Use the Media Creation Tool to create a USB install disk, then without restarting the PC, run the setup inside the USB. Skip the update check, then when Windows tells you that it'll upgrade Windows while keeping apps and your files, proceed once you have checked that is the correct action.

You should back up your files before installing Windows.
