Hello, today I reinstalled Windows 10 when I sulk on Windows, 10. A few seconds later it sputters sometimes it sputters only after a minute or two it restarts in a loop. There are several things you should know before reinstalling Windows. I had some sort of virus which is why I reinstalled Windows 2/3 days ago when I had this virus. My PC sometimes restarts after two hours of use or after a few minutes of use. but currently it doesn't last two minutes on, but only in Windows. I can stay in the BIOS for 20 minutes without the PC shutting down. I have already tried several things. Windows is installed correctly. my RAM sticks are very recent: a few months. my hard drive works on another PC. a colleague suggested it could be the motherboard, but I need confirmation from a professional. I already tried to read the CMOS

My motherboard had 2 years and one mouth

Can you confirm every component in your BIOS is displayed correctly? Like is it showing 32gb ram (if that's what you have) or is it showing like 25gb? i.e. and clock speeds too @keen horizon

#

Also issue could possibly be motherboard yeah, or even PSU because BIOS does not require much power

#

Disconnect everything but your monitor and keyboard, and see if you can get further in so you are using minimal power that could possibly verify issue with some capacitors or the PSU

Within the BIOS, there should be a place where you can see the stats of your computer. Hardware monitor

#

Find it, and sit on that screen for a while. Tell me the values of the following:

CPU temperature
CPU voltage
+12V voltage

Yea I'll do this

if possible and listed, also +3.3V and +5V

Have you tried running the Windows setup with the bare minimum possible hardware installed? (Only your main SSD, no RGB, CPU fan and pump only, 1 RAM stick, keyboard and mouse)

#

what CPU too? if it has integrated, try with no video card

keen horizon
#

ryzen 9 5900x

#

But I can tried with no video card

#

I'll see if my computer restart

#

I'll try too with 1 ram stick and no rgb (I have already my main ssd)

#

With 1 ram stock and no rgb it crash too

#

I'll try now with no video card

#

It crash too

The You Think, It's My Mother board

#

I. Will Probably order new motherboard Today with Amazon and If is Not the issueu I Will Able to return The Producy

#

You think is a good thinking v

real ferry
#

yeah, I think something's definitely really weird with the board... if the new board ends up not working also, then the remaining would be CPU and PSU. You can probably get a cheap Athlon for the former, while you can probably borrow someone else's for the latter temporarily

It had 3 months

#

Remaining

#

Bought 3 months ago

real ferry
#

You bought a used CPU?

keen horizon
#

No

real ferry
#

A new CPU with 3 months warranty doesn't make any sense. You have consumer rights that mandate a minimum length under normal circumstances.

#

Where did you buy it? If this was an online store, was a third party seller involved?

I'm beginning to think you have purchased a dud CPU

keen horizon
#

I have bought it on Amazon

#

Yes it doesn't make any sense

#

I have take the decision to see a professional

#

Je I'll do a complete check of my computer to find and fix the issue

#

It's very strange and hard

To solve
