Serious answer: match the GPU you want with the resolution (1920x1080, 2560x1440, 3840x2160, as well as any ultrawide variants), as well as the target frame rate for AAA games (60 FPS, 100 FPS+) (Competitive, eSports, and Multiplayer games are not considered as they tend to be much easier to run than their single player counterparts)

You should look at the 4060, 4060 Ti, and the 4070 for that level

good enough, sweet spot, and a bit "extra" (getting a 4070 for 1080p? Either you're aiming for 120fps+ AAA gaming, planning to use DSR/DLDSR, or gunning for RT at full blast without upscaling)

csgo (cs2), valorant

these games are very definitely esports games. a 4060 + settings as low as it can get should get you there on csgo and valorant

fortnite
this one is much more iffy. I'd not want to play it with ps2 graphics if you catch my meaning. game is also fairly cpu intense. instead of aiming for 240fps, you should just use auto set, or set it in a way that gets you over 120fps

remember to also factor in your display's refresh rate and whether it can do gsync and/or freesync

if your display can't even do 240hz in the first place, it's perfectly fine to target a lower frame rate

just remember that this is a tall order for fortnite due to cpu

open fortnite. set settings to DX11 (NOT PERFORMANCE MODE), preset Low, change scaling to none, render scale to 50%

Keep in mind that it's ultra settings. Unless you are sensitive to aliasing, or some kind of setting enforcement is in place, you can drop settings to easily increase performance

The 4070/4070 Super, though, is definitely going to ensure that the GPU is never at fault lol
