#why my games lag while I am getting 60+ fps

If it's only when you are getting over 60 fps, you might be mistaking lag for screen tearing. Screen tearing occurs when you are trying to run a game at a higher fps than your monitor supports.
Had this happen to me on my old PC when playing Pubg . I got 80 fps but my cpu usage was always at 100% and it was lagging pretty hard. You can look up your cpu usage in game with windows task-manager.
I have 75 hz monitor
ah
Do you mostly play multiplayer games? Usually lag is cause by slow internet or, if you are using a wireless internet adapter, wireless connection instability.
Define lag
- Visually, the game exhibits hitching or "framey" appearance (stutters, microstutters, and animation mistiming)
- Slow/delayed response to camera movement or key inputs (input lag)
- Slow/delayed hit registration from input to confirmation (network lag - please be aware that many shooters as of late implement bullet velocity and there is an expected delay between shots and hitting)
