Hey @sturdy heart - I actually had a similar issue
Mine was issues with the display ports in particular, but the HDMI port worked - do you have a HDMI cable available to see if it's the same issue I had? I resolved mine
HDMI works if I plug it into my mobo
Might be worth keeping it in your mobo, and then installing Geforce experience (update your drivers)
Try these two after you updated your drivers (when you run them, make sure you have the monitor plugged into the display port at the same time)
Run the Nvidia UEFI Firmware Updater: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/
Download English (U.S.) drivers for NVIDIA hardware - , , ,

Oh yeah I’ve try those 2 things already and I still have the problem I’ve try so many things and spend hours on end and still can’t seem to fix it
It’s brand new as well
So I might just need to return it and get a new one problem is there out of stock at Best Buy
