Do you know how your laptop's GPU outputs are hooked to the display outputs?
What are the specifications of the ports?
oh I'm only using my laptops monitor at the moment, I don't have another monitor i can use but when I use the dedicated gpu only this is what I get
Pretty sure this menu is irrelevant. I want the one in NVIDIA Control Panel if you don't have the specs sheet ready. (Go to the PhysX settings page (yes))
this one?
Alright. So everything is directly out of the GPU, so I'm going to ask you to try again with whatever cable you are using to the monitor. (What cable type?)
how can I have a cable if I use my laptops one tho?
Something is messed up in the title or description, then. So, if the issue is the inability to use HDR on your laptop panel...
Is it HDR?
(Check specs.)
oh sorry, that's mb. I mean my settings say I can use HDR but whenever I use the nvidia gpu only it doesn't allow me to and says it's on the second screen even though i only have one laptop monitor...
alright I kinda got it to work, just not the way I wanted it to but that's fine. I just used optimus instead and used intel graphics to change the overall color scheme
this is bizzare. report to nvidia customer service and your laptop maker.
