It's not bad at all, modern GPUs have protections in that stop you doing anything stupid.

Only "risk" is that it would consume more power and generate more heat, which if you have a really shit PSU or a really cramped case could be a problem.

Overheating would just reduce your performance + Increase noise though, it won't let you burn it out or anything.

I mean just use something like MSI Afterburner or HWInfo to see how hot it gets when gaming.

If it's already getting really hot, then there probably isn't much point in overclocking it.

It's fine anyway, as I said you aren't going to break it. Whether it's worth it or not is a different story.

Yeah you can probably get a little bit of performance out of it.

Can also look into undervolting, that can cool it down which lets it clock higher, there's loads of guides on Youtube.
