So I just upgraded my build; now it's a 12600k + 3070 ti + 32 GB of ram; before it was an i5 9400f + 1660 super + 16 GB of ram, specifically when I switched the gpu (I was waiting for a good sale to grab the 3070 ti before I was rocking a 12600k + 1660 super). The VR performance has been terribly garbage, barely reaching 72 fps on most games I've tried.
Blades and Sorcery, Half-Life Alyx, and a couple others on the lowest graphics are still struggling, although flat-screen games are amazing and run perfectly.

Needless to say yet I'm saying anyway something definitely doesn't add up cause on paper that's a great VR build and an obvious across the board upgrade from your previous one

72fps jumps out at me though - are you using a Quest 2? Did it's refresh rate limit get reset to 72hz in the software? Cause that build should absolutely handle 90 hz/fps in most VR games at decent settings - maybe not always max settings, but most VR games were developed when a 1080 was considered a high end target and a 3070ti should blow past that

Did you clean-reinstall the drivers when swapping to the 3070 to reset any straggling nvidia settings that might screw things up?
