#lag in games after driver update
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
When you say lag, lag is a term used for your internet latency (ping) if you have issues with ping then it isn't the driver, that's for sure
no but while playing game after i download this driver the game stutters sometimes
before I downloaded this driver this didn't happen
Does changing the driver fix this problem?
I might've heard some users complain about stuttering on newest drivers, not sure I can confirm that but
Use Auto DDU or regular DDU to uninstall your current driver completely and head over to : https://www.nvidia.com/download/find.aspx then download the older driver and install it
You should download the driver before running DDU, because you usually want to disable your internet connection when running DDU so Windows doesn't reinstall the driver by itself
If it was the driver causing the stutters then yes, installing older driver should get rid of it
but if I uninstall the drivers with DDU reinstall windows 11 or delete applications?
Then how much do I reinstall the drivers that driver I recommend?
You don't have to reinstall Windows, just run Auto DDU(it's made to automate the process) Regular DDU (same as Auto DDU but you manually have to go into safe mode and run the application). But as I said, head over to the website I sent you, select the driver you want to install (use the one you had previously that had no stutters) and then do the DDU, after DDU finishes you just install the driver package you downloaded.
No need to reinstall windows
the problem is that I do not remember the driver I had before
but if I delete the drivers differently and then reinstall them it changes something or it is better with DDU
Normally you can't uninstall the driver from device manager DDU is the only way

Choose whichever you prefer
Keep in mind, if you opt out for Regular then you have to enter into safe mode before running the app
ok thank you very much you have been very kind
