Let it wipe both Intel and NVIDIA drivers. Then...

#

Reinstall drivers, starting with Intel graphics [preferably from your laptop maker's support page for your laptop, otherwise from Intel], then the latest NVIDIA driver

#

If Intel Graphics Command Center didn't install for some reason, look for it in the Microsoft Store. Same for the NVIDIA Control Panel.

No.

[Privacy risk, and you can't really use other programs while doing the steps anyway.]

If it downloads them for you let it

#

Yes

#

Can't open or doesn't exist?

#

In Windows Settings, look for NVIDIA Control Panel's entry. When you find it, attempt to repair/reinstall it. If it fails, uninstall it, and then download it from the Microsoft Store.

#

(It should be in the same place where you get a list of installed apps.)

#

You didn't follow instructions correctly

#

Open Windows Settings. Go to the page where a list of installed apps are shown. Find the entry for NVIDIA Control Panel. Uninstall it.

#

You never opened Windows Settings.

#

Yeah. If it doesn't work gimme a moment.

#

Can you try uninstalling it again, then restart your PC, then install it?

#

Manual DDU the NVIDIA drivers only (google "display driver uninstaller" but be careful of fake links...)

#

Then

#

That didn't work, so we need something else

#

Probably overkill. Let's exhaust all other options first.

#

Remember to also download the newest geforce driver package from here before proceeding to run ddu

#

Once everything is ready and unpacked, restart your computer in Safe Mode

#

Doesn't matter.

#

Do it anyway.

#

DDU will always remove the currently installed drivers.

#

This driver is old.

#

531.41 is the current.

#

Just download it again.

#

Yeah

#

Not if you're doing it manually

#

Because there are now extra steps

#

This is strange

#

Can you attempt to scroll this screen?

#

The option is missing

#

Since we're already here...

#

Probably back up everything and try a factory reset

#

Get all the laptop's drivers from the laptop maker's website, run the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool, let it create a Windows 11 installation DVD/USB, restart your computer and boot from it, clean install Windows 11

#

Hopefully that won't be needed

OK, your Windows install ain't all fine. Let's just clean install
