im having a driver issue where i recently upgraded to windows 11 and went to upgrade my drivers to the 2/08/23 driver and it gives me the blue screen of death with the code SYSTEM_THREAD_EXEPTION_NOT_HANDLED but when i download the 528.24 (dont know the date) before i got windows 11 worked fine but my gpu isnt showing up on task manager or device manager. and when i open Geforce Experience it says no drivers installed. Im getting pissed and about to sell this stupid POS, laptop btw. need help ASAP

Update your igpu drivers and rest of dtivers from laptop manufacturer website
Your latop shifts between igpu and dgpu so both have to be updated
but thats not the issue
the issue is is that its not detected in my graphics settings or on task manager
You have to contact manufacturer of the laptop then, not nvidia
It's an issue with laptop rather than anything else
And have you tried ddu?
I don't understand your no yes resonse
its an issue with nvidia cause its a nvidia gpu
@eager shale I'm having the exact same issue, my laptop has the 1070 GPU. Seems to be a problem with no solution atm
As you said, worst thing is I legitimately cannot even roll back to an older driver version because it doesn't read properly for some reason, even after using DDU.
yeah
so what do i do
just have a 1800$ paper weight
thats bs
What I'm surprised by is how a new update seemingly borked the act of even rolling back to an older driver. How does this even happen?!?
idk but i would like to play games so nvidia needs to get it together
Update : Reporting that this hotfix does NOT fix [4008527]. My notebook, which has the GTX 1070 M, still has the same BSOD/bluescreen issue while installing the driver.
@eager shale does the hotfix fix the issue for you?

Doesn’t work
At this point, if you wanna, go ahead and reinstall Windows and the drivers. If things still break, use your warranty
This is increasingly less driver issue and more hardware issue.
I did that and it didn’t do anything
My computer is out of warranty
Ended a month ago @upbeat spindle
thats nvidias fault lmao
im having same issue i have a gtx titan x and if i update to 531 driver i get the same blue screen of death and i need to re install windows and the update is supported by all titan cards so idk whats going on
i just did that and nothing happened, im not doing the whole thing where i like get rid of everything and start from when i bought it lmao
yeah so idk if its my end or nvidia messing up a update
it leteraly unstalled my windows 10
im stuck on 516 driver
im on w11
idk whast going on
