This one?
yes
what
OK so
A game has high fps = animation is smooth
A laggy game = game reaction is delayed compared to your input
A game can have both happening, but a lot of people say laggy when they mean low fps
i have 144 fps but on screen it10
What game
when screen go on rtx evry thing in lag
Is this an external display?
no its laptop display
Does this happen only when you're in dGPU-only mode?
In where is it reporting 144 fps?
Is this lag only while in the game, or does it affect the desktop, or other games?
evry where
Since it's in dGPU-only mode, please show me the "Change display resolution" page in the NVIDIA Control Panel
I want to see what's in it
.
This display does not look like it supports VRR. For now, let's put this information aside for now
In an affected game, press ALT-R and tell me what it says
Something seems broken here.
I'm going to ask you to do the following steps in order.
ok
- revert the display mode to auto, and restart your computer. This will let you use the iGPU
Since your display isn't VRR, your games may work better without forcing dGPU mode anyway
Let me know if it works around the problem.
If you want to, you should then do the following, to see if it's the drivers being busted:
- run DDU for both the GeForce and your iGPU. This is usually Intel, but some computers have AMD.
- after it's done wiping both sets of drivers, install the latest driver package from your iGPU maker first (or the manufacturer's site, if it's unusable), then followed by the GeForce driver from NVIDIA.com, then restart.
Set the display mode to dGPU mode, then restart again.
Now check if the games work properly.
If it still doesn't work, you may have a bug to report to NVIDIA.
ok thank i do it later and ill tell you
(It might also be a bug to report to the laptop manufacturer, but they probably don't care about anything out of warranty)
thank you bro it fixfed
Glad to hear.
